I am a Specialist Data Science & Research Management at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), which is part of Maastricht University’s School of Business and Economics (SBE). At ROA, I fulfill two roles; first, implementing innovative and data science techniques in research and its visualizations and second, managing the complete process of research (co-creation management, stakeholder management, finances and driving meta-level processes). I am currently involved in (a.o.) research that focusses on assessing skills demands using text mining techniques, eye tracking research and the ai:conomics project, where the team studies the impact of AI on work and workers. As part of ROA’s Research Data Management Team, I aim to streamline RDM processes and contribute to an Open Science mindset that centers around learning together, curiosity and a drive for quality and impact.
